Board + committee Chair
Roles & Responsibilities
We’re seeking Williamsburg parents for two openings on the board for the upcoming school year. The term for each position will be July 1, 2026 thru June 30, 2027.
VICE-PRESIDENT
The Vice President assists the co-Presidents with oversight of various event and program committees of the PTO.
Ideally, in order to provide consistency, the Vice President would succeed to the office of President at the next available opening.
COMMUNICATIONS Chair
The Communications Chair oversees the PTO website and promotes PTO programs via social media channels and other communications platforms.
Interest or experience in graphic design is a plus, but not required.

While many roles for the 2026–2027 school year have already been filled, several open positions remain, and we are also seeking volunteers for shadow opportunities. We are in desperate need of volunteers. Without additional support, some PTO events and programs may need to be scaled back or cancelled. We truly cannot do this without you.
Open Positions require a volunteer(s) to take on full responsibility for a role, event, or term for the 2026-2027 school year. Co-chairing any position is highly encouraged to share the workload!
Shadow Positions allow volunteers to learn alongside a current chair, with the expectation of taking over full responsibility for the 2027–2028 school year. This is a great way to ease in, learn the ropes, and feel confident stepping into leadership.
