Welcome to the home stretch of the 2025-2026 school year for WES!
Before you settle into summer, please take a moment to explore volunteer opportunities for the remaining spring events as well as 2026-2027. Planning for next year is already underway and, without enough support, many beloved events could be scaled back or even canceled. The WES Parent Teacher Organization is made up of parents, caregivers, teachers, and staff dedicated to supporting students and building a strong school community. There is no PTO without Y-O-U!
May includes two opportunities to support WES students while dining out with a Give Back Fundraiser at Aurelio’s May 7 and a Restaurant Night at Burger Joint / Woodgrain Pizza / Oberweis May 13. Be sure to mention WES when placing your order so a portion of the proceeds can go back to support our school!
Don’t miss one of the most anticipated events of the year, the WES Sports Finale May 22! Students will be grouped into small teams and rotate through a variety of fun and active stations. This event needs volunteers to help run games, assist with refreshments, and guide student groups throughout the event. Sign up today!
Last but not least, this year’s WES Block Party May 28 will be extra special as we celebrate our amazing principal, Dr. Dye, and congratulate her on a well-deserved retirement! Our theme is Hawaiian tie dye! It’s sure to be a bright, joyful evening you won’t want to miss.
