WES PTO Read-a-Thon
The Read-a-Thon is our largest and most important fundraiser of the entire school year.
Funds raised during this event provide critical support for field trips, school-wide events, assemblies, classroom enhancements, and students in need. The success of this fundraiser directly impacts what the PTO is able to provide for our students and staff throughout the year, and we truly need your help to make it a success.
Every minute read and every donation collected makes a difference, and we couldn’t do this without the incredible support of our WES families. ❤️
Important Dates to Know:
Sign-Up Begins: Friday, January 23rd
Students can create their Read-a-Thon profile and begin collecting donations.
Log Minutes: Monday, January 26th – February 8th
Students can log their reading minutes daily throughout the event.
PRIZES:
Reaching the all school goal of 150,000 minutes read - All school popcorn/movie day
Most Participation (1 class per grade) - Indoor Recess Basket (Legos, sticker books and game)
Most Minutes Logged (1 class per grade) - Portillos Chocolate Cake vouchers
Most Money Raised per Grade (1 winner from each grade) - Fidget Basket (NeeDoh etc)
Top 3 individual Overall Minutes Read - Harvey's Tale gift card
